 Giligadi is a solo project that has been in process for better than fifteen years. Drawing from influences as varied as Pink Floyd and Coil (with lots of stuff inbetween), Giligadi is mostly concerned with interior emotional landscapes as described in a three dimentional soundscape.
The term "Tripnotism" is one that I created ten years ago to describe at least part of my artistic intentions, and it still holds some weight today, but it has EVOLVED. In any event, there are at least three Giligadi's, if not more. Giligadi v.1 works strictly in abstract sound scapes comprised of tape cuts or samples; Giligadi v.2 is a helplessly morbid and frustratedly limited vocal/instrumental performer; Giligadi v.3 is a MIDI/.wav/virtual virtuoso with a vengance... but not enough sense to dial it back a bit and make something commercially viable.
